Wow, what another WONDERFUL weekend for my poor computer. So…Thursday night before I go to bed, I allow the automatic updates to do their thing on my computer as I shut it down. Friday morning, I am greeted with The Blue Screen of Death. After googling "blue screen of death" and "automatic updates", my husband concludes that the latest Windows updates have affected a percentage of Windows users (such as me). Luckily, a friend of mine (the real Damien) is like a Jedi knight of computers, and fixed things up quite nicely! And no, the fixing involved no sledgehammers (although I was tempted). I'm hoping now that I have a working computer I can get the comic that was intended for tonight ready by Thursday (provided something ELSE doesn't go wrong). For now, enjoy this filler strip.
