#516 - Break Up, Break In, Break Him (Part 1)

Alright kids, it's story time! Back in 2006 and 2007 I took a couple of classes over at the ol' community college. In fall 2006, I took a class on fiction writing and the following semester I took one on graphic novels, same professor for both classes. Anyhoo, since I've had the idea for RO3 in my head for years before I did anything about it, I decided to write a short story with Kat, Hazel and Ivy for an assignment for the fiction writing class, which I was then able to use for my final project for the graphic novel class.

Fast forward to when I started getting into the Katerli dating Richard story-arc, I couldn't find the paper comic anywhere, so I had to rely on memory, and with me that's never a good thing :/  Luckily earlier this year I found it hidden away…somewhere, so I was able to match up a bit of the story. But still, there are some inconsistencies.

As you'll see over the next 9 strips, a few things changed from the comic book to the webcomic. As I post each page I'll point out the oopsies and we can all have a nice chuckle at my mistakes. I've also left in all the mistakes and pencil drawings to show how this all started out (plus I'm feeling lazy as hell and didn't want to clean it up much). So let's get started!

Here we have the cover and page 1. Back before I was married, haha… Hand written dialogue, ooh, exciting! I wish I had numbered the pages, so I added in that gray line as a divider (which will be in all of these 9 strips).
