And previously seen character flooding just keeps going. Heh heh.

Now I know it's getting confusing, and as I edited in my comments from two days ago, I probably should have inserted more panels/pages to be clear on what you're supposed to know about what's going on.

So, just to sum up:
SHELL was warned that the energy signature he'd been reviewing earlier in this chapter had suddenly risen in his area, and a Mission Phase 2 (he wasn't previously aware of) had been deployed to deal with it. By the time the Phase 2 team had arrived (Claire and the van) SHELL was down. By then, everything that's going on is viewable by a select few, and all others were grayscaled out. Kreed sensed that Claire is a "conduit" (the sort of thing Guardians are supposed to guard/protect) and wants to corrupt her, but of course, Claire has her own Guardian and intervenes.

Now in this page, apparently, Claire's guardian was no match for Kreed, and he's materializing into plain view. The remainder of the HU mission team is revealed: Weaver, and her energy threads seem to be able to restrain Kreed now that he's surfaced onto the material plane.

A few more pages before the end of this issue. I think they will answer a few questions that might be coming to mind as well as bring up a few more. Thanks for reading!
