Desperado is just waiting for a real challenge… so why not pass the time with a shooting gallery, right? Well… maybe he's not too bad… I mean… no civilians seem to be hurt, like he just let them go or something.
On an unrelated note, I think I would've liked to see the following comics in the DD Awards finalist ranks (in no specific order):
Blue Jay and The Young Defenders (awesome superhero comic)
The Urban Legends (awesome action)
Retake (awesome completed comic)
Vanguard (awesome color art/layout/background art)
Bombshell (I love the new antagonist girl)
Bad Guy High Adventures (I like his lettering)
Cubicles (best comic strip)
DANGERMOTH (awesome character design)
The Girl Next Door (I love the dialog of this series. It always flows brilliantly)
Heroes Unite (This award period includes the beginning of Darkness Within, and there are some damn epic pages in that chapter. I think it just didn't get in because a lot of us went with HA on nominations and could only nominate one or the other; we probably should have put some nomination strategy together).
I guess I should get off of my lazy bum and get to the forums and pimp the never-before featured ones out there so that skoolmunkee or ozoneocean would maybe take a look at one or two so they can see what they're missing out on.
Bah, anyway, I'm presenting a DD Award again this year… which means it's time for Easter eggs…
My category is Best Adult-Oriented… so it'll be interesting… since I can't seem to get ideas of overly suggestive presentations out of my head… but must do so for a rated "E" DD Awards… despite recurring visions of Death P0rn girls salivating over A-list celebrity Brad Stone… or Busty Solar doing a full cavity search on Wally or Ost in his cubicle… and so on…
