Welcome to the surface.

The ice has been melting for years, but life on the surface is still bleak and inhospitable. Most settlements do not have electricity or basic sanitation.

San Leon is one of the largest settlements in the region. It's located about 70 miles south of the receding shelf of ice, and just twenty miles from the nearest support tower for the tube cities in the sky above.
