The plot-line of Joe being invited to the popular kid party, and then Eddie deciding to get dressed up in a dorky suit and crash it, is one of the few elements of the story that remains mostly in tact from my old Dark Relic movie script (which served as the inspiration for the basic plot of Satan Ninja 198X).
