Eddie has unknowingly entered the house at Dean's bedroom, so of course he has a life-size statue of himself. Jessica considered having Eddie encounter a cardboard cutout of Dean instead, but I thought a statue would be funnier and better portray just how rich the Slaters are.

The statue is being back-lit by the only current light source in the room, which is coming from a TV.

Oh man, just wait'll you see what's playing on that TV…
