She has won the Rot Nymph of the Year award three consecutive times!!

Yes my friends, yeeess, further and further we go down this rabbit hole. Will there ever be a bott-We interrupt your usual insane rant to give you a quick lesson on the nymphs of Scantily Clad.

When a forest, jungle or other such area becomes large enough and supports enough flora and fauna, a nymph is usually born of the land to help take care of and nurture their surroundings. None of the dominant intelligent species have ever witnessed a nymph's "birth", only other nymphs have ever seen the event. When a nymph comes into being, they are fully formed and matured (usually looking somewhere between 14 and 25 by human standards) and have rudimentary knowledge of the world and how to act, talk and behave. As such of course, most nymphs are VERY naive of anything outside of their limited understanding, and are usually considered gullible or childish. This is usually thought to be why nymphs are always naked, and while this is somewhat true, it is not the only reason. Nymphs, being born directly of the life force of the world, and still possessing a strong connection to it, cannot stand the touch and feel of dead materials. As clothing is (of course) made up of dead fibers, it tends to feel very uncomfortable to most nymphs, sometimes downright painful. So even when the existence and option of clothing becomes available, all nymphs pass it up.
However there is exception to this rule, in the form of the Rot Nymphs. A rare breed of nymph, they are born of areas that are undergoing massive decay and decomposition. They help speed up the process so that life may once again be facilitated and return to the area. Though they are considered by most to be “undesirable”, they are a very necessary force in the world, and take great pride in their work. As they are born of “death”, the feel of clothing does not repulse as much as their “life focused” nymph sisters. They, in fact are repulsed by the touch of living matter, going so far as to wrap their feet in dead leaves to avoid the feeling of live grass (there is a longstanding legend that this action was copied by the other sentient species, in order to protect their own feet, thus leading to the invention of “shoes”). Despite being kosher with the feel of clothing, it is still rare for Rot Nymphs to be seen when wearing clothing. They have no sense of money and are not born with ideas of ownership, thus do not seek out garbs. Whenever a Rot Nymph is seen wearing clothing, it was almost certainly a gift of some sort, and is something they take immense pride in wearing, and are all unwilling to part with.
Of course there are other types of nymphs with their own rules and customs. Desert Nymphs, Mountain Nymphs, Core Nymphs, Cave Nymphs, the list could go on and on. Of course, the weirdest, strangest and rarest type of nymph is the Nomad Nymph. Their origins and purpose is something…. that will be discussed at a later date.
