Hi!

You know the Duck has seen a lot of changes of status quo over the years I've been posting here.  When I first discovered the site I think Bouncing Orbs Of Beauty and G.R.I.N.D. were two of the mainstays of the adult comic genre.  Of course there are also stalwarts such as plymayer and El Cid who've given us quality AND quantity and I thank them for it.

If there was one thing I wanted to do with Scarlet Vixen (aside from titilate and receive unadulterated adoration) it was to create - at least - one full story that didn't dwindle off, peter out or simply stop updating without explanation.  Initially I just wanted to draw sexy people doing sexy things but soon also used the comic as an exercise in drawing the human form.  Soon the characters took on a life of their own and, whilst I'm certainly not claiming to be a great character writer, Ellie went from being a bit of an empty vesel to someone who was at least on the way to becoming an inividual with oppinions and wishes.

Tone can be surprisingly difficult to master and Scarlet Vixen was occasionally in danger og going down somewhat too gritty a path, hence Miss. Indigo, the whirlwind that she is:- always ready to change course should her interest be piqued elsewhare but the very embodiment of chaos with one thing always at the back and often at the front of her mind.

Other adult comics will come and go, some finished, some leaving us without that all important money-shot.  The caliber of my little title may have wanting sometimes and the consistency wavering, but if nothing else, I can only hope that on the whole, even if just a little bit, it raised the odd temperature, smile, eyebrow or…well..you know…
