I always feel bad when my work isn't created under the best of conditions. It looks however it does physically but to me I remember what it was like creating it. For the Belfry Twins I ended up falling in a weeks deadline. Which is fine, I'm used to tight deadlines and I work well under pressure. HOWEVER, I had a serious cold and was running a fever painting and repainting my last few pages right down to the date. It was a real pain having to paint one stroke and then put down my brush and pick up a kleenex to wipe my nose every so many seconds.
Some of you may have noticed the look of Belfry Twins somewhat resemble paper dolls with old film lighting. This was a technique I first kind of developed with a project called Dream Pocket and working closely with my friend, Annalise "McFanny". Who is probably responsible for the paper doll bit from our previous collabs.
