Chaos Guard
on

Lockre stood near to the railing on the balcony overlooking the Antros capital city of Vaxes. Beneath him the city spread out for miles in any direction, the outskirts of the city reaching up into the foothills of the cliffs that formed a defensive perimeter about the city. He knew that Mira was standing behind him; she was always following him, trying to start conversation, introduce him to people and other social niceties that would be a waste of his energy to encourage. Although a steady wind blew about, ruffling his fur and hair, she stood pristine and untouched by the wind; likely a testament to her powers as a Life Dancer.
"I think it is time for me to leave this city finally." he stated flatly, ignoring the scowl from his Dark persona, who wanted to destroy the city first.
"Want to get away from me?" Mira asked with a surprising amount of cheerfulness in her voice, one would have though she would be unhappy about her "pet project" leaving.
"That is illogical, feelings are irrelevant to me. I simply have no reason to remain here." he replied.
"So you claim." she said knowingly. He might try to hide it, but somewhere deep down Lockre must have a need for social interaction and she was determined to re-introduce him to society. Why he had separated himself from society was obvious; his parents had died soon after his birth and his dissociative identity disorder scared most others off,
"Why must you insist on trying to befriend me?" Lockre returned, no trace of emotion in his voice.

Alright, first page of what will be my primary comic until completion. I pretty much plan on updating this every other week or so since I really want to spend a lot of time perfecting perspective and figures. Hopefully, as I improve, updates will occur more frequently.
