The Night, The same reason I love it is the same reason I hate it: I'm here by myself. Humanity's need to both push and pull away itself from others will forever make man it's own greatest enemy. Which raises an age old question, If we ever were contacted by extraterrestrials, would that cause more or less problems than we already have?

Perhaps they're already here, and we simply aren't evolved enough as a society for another race to present itself. People want a Messiah? Maybe the Messiah doesn't want us.
