And this concludes our first and admittedly short first chapter. This was something of a prologue, and the next chapter should be both longer and introduce our main cast. Thank you, for anybody out there reading. :)

EDIT: Sorry for the missed update tonight. Life did that nasty thing it does where it gets in the way. New chapter on monday, and I'll see if I can scavenge together some bonus material to make up for this.
