Sex on the Beach

Sex on the Beach onah Its kind of late but I've been a little busy.
I wrote a poem for 9-11:
I was mad at you that morning
so I didn't tell you good-bye.
I didn't say I love you,
Of course you "should've known why."
I stayed silent as you walked away
because I didn't kow what would happen to you
on that fateful day.
Watching the news, my life screeched to a halt.
i cried on the soft black leather.
Mother told me its not my fault.
I numbly walked through the rain of red stained paper
as the airlines scrambled,
to make the sky safer.
Our usual places are destroyed or filled with smoke..
and with great valor,
the mayor spoke.
But even now after the two would fall,
after the wounds would heal
with lost names on the wall.
I will always remember, and forever regret,
when i didn't say good-bye
on that morning you left.
