Volume 2 - cover

Hey! I had Chapter 6 all loaded up, with the first page ready to go live on Thursday … and then I remembered we had this rather nice cover. When and if we ever get Shades into print there will be two volumes. While it's online, though, we've split it into three and guess what? This is the cover for Volume 2 - think of it as a bonus for sticking with us!

The inset of Boo in full-on battle-mode is from Chapter 6, so you'll be seeing that shortly. The main BG image is the splash page from the beginning of Chapter 7 so you'll have to wait a little longer to see that properly. It'll be worth the wait, though. The first four pages of Chapter 7 are my favourite part of the book so far!
