Okay, for anyone who doesn't know their ancient British history, this part of Boo's backstory is more or less historically accurate.

The Roman historians don't give the ages of Boudicca's daughters at the time they were "ravished" or "outraged" (their words!) The Victorian statue of Boadicea/Boudicca on the Embankment in London shows them as young adult women. Other, more recent accounts estimate that they would have been younger. A recent fictionalised account by Manda Scott, for example, suggests they were aged 14 and eight. So now you know why I opted to "tell rather than show" Boo's backstory!
