Background info: Earlier on, I said there were three parts to the Shaman's staff, each one representing a specific power and each one based on actual Druidic lore. The first part, you may remember, was the oak shaft. The Druids associated the oak with lightning, hence the ability of the Shaman and Bedlam to hurl lightning at their opponents.

The second part is mistletoe. The Druids associated mistletoe with healing, hence the staff's power to heal that the Shaman refers to here.
