A little while ago, Abt Nihil sent me a great piece of fanart, a dummy magazine cover showing Boo in combat with a dragon (go see it here - quick!) At the time, he wrote: "I don't know if Boo has ever fought a dragon …" to which I replied something like: "Not exactly." Well, Mr Nihil, this is that "not exactly a dragon" I was referring to!

As for who/what Thrawn is … You may remember that way back in Chapter 8, Doug explained that the Shaman feared Bedlam might be planning to summon "the worst demon spirit a mortal man might possibly imagine". Well, he was right. And Thrawn is that demon!
