Okay, here's a group shot by Nickel which, when I eventually get my act together, will be the cover for a printed edition of Shades.

Meanwhile, if you've been wondering where you can get your fix of super hero action in a fun, character-driven package now that Shades has ended, I'm going to suggest you try Magellan.

It has been serialised elsewhere on the web but it's new to DD so, if you haven't seen it yet, it's the story of a group of cadets at a training facility for young, wannabe super heroes. Think of it as a cross between Sky High, the Starfleet Academy (yes, it has aliens!) and the Xavier Institute. Give it a try!
