Oh. Boy.

This is the final twist in the story. Or not really a twist, but a spot I could see people balking at. Yes, Kiva is important for what she brings to the table as a person, but ohhh boy Nox definitely puts a heavy weight on her value as an evolutionary stepping stone. We’ve gone into how the kilm view the spirits, but we haven’t directly addressed how the spirits view the kilm yet. (Hint: It’s not as equals.)

But more on that next page when we get some final pieces to the puzzle and Kiva has opinions to share.
