Currently reading Giovanni Guareschi's "The Little World of Don Camillo". One of my favorite books when I was on High School and that I found when I was cleaning some things in my room yesterday…

If you haven't readed it, basically is the story about a Catholic Priest engaged in a rivalry with the Communist Mayor of an Italian village after the WWII and adviced by a statue of Jesus.

Far from demonize both postures (Catholicism and Communism), the book really does a lot to humanize two characters that honestly just want to serve their fellow men, that at the end share an enormous respect for each other and basically stating that political views aren't as important as the goodness in the heart…

Basically, the book that is responsible for my apolitical posture today.
