If you're lost, a simple explanation can be had:

Takuya is partnered with a girl named Meiru, and they are Shinigami. They go and take souls from peoples.

Thomas is thrown randomly into the mix, and now Takuya has to figure out what exactly to do with him.

Both myself and Chiibi will be commenting and throwing in a few phrases… but not for long. Takuya, Thomas, and Meiru kinda go off in their own little world. ^.^
