I have the sudden urge to talk about bananas. Probably because I like bananas. I come from a place where bananas are in abundance. Not to mention that my place produces quite a variety of bananas.
From where I come from, we have red bananas. These bananas are pinkish in color and they actually taste like a mix of banana flavor with peppermint. Yum!
Then we have baby bananas. These bananas are very sweet yet they are only the size of a finger.
My favorite is of course the rice banana. And it does shape like rice seed and it’s only 2 to 3 inches long. It tastes a bit powdery when you first bite it, when you munch it, it eventually tastes creamy and sweet.
Then, there’re also buffalo horn bananas. These giant bananas can grow up to over 7 inches long. You cannot eat it directly but you have to cook it in order to eat it.
There’re also chalk bananas. They are edible when cooked and they shaped like fat cactus leaves. The banana looks as white as chalk and they are also tasteless like chalk.
Then I’m sure many of you have tasted the green banana. There’re still many more varieties of bananas not mentioned here. So, anyone wants a banana?
