So, Zed was, in essence, a (slight) exaggeration of the mirth and mayhem Jesse brought to the lives of myself and those around him.

Remember kids, a personal forcefield is a mad genius's best friend. And, yes, Scorch has a jawbone imbedded in his gut, and he doesn't really seem to notice. That was the first big hint about his true nature. I never let out the big reveal about him during the course of the comic, but, those who actually pay attention to these pathetic scribblings and all the others across the Interbuttz, culminating in a very messy digital footprint, probably already know.

I remember going back and painstakingly covering all the Shrimp Fried Riot logos with Malicious Intent ones, but, unfortunately, I kept both sets of comics for a while, and may have accidentally erased the altered ones… but, as I am a lazy bugger, I ain't going back and doing it again, so, just pretend all those SFR logos in the margins and corners say "MALICIOUS INTENT".

Also, note that Milo wears a lot of villain themed T-shirts, as his creator, Yours Truly, is a comic geek. So much so, that I gave him a Black Hand shirt in this strip, as I thought it was a cool logo for such and obscure and meaningless Green Lantern villain that I was SURE no one would ever see again… Almost 3 years later, BLACKEST NIGHT happened! I was ahead of the Geek Curve!!
