Mind you, these comics were originally made while George Dubya Bush and Dick Cheney were still running the country (into the ground).

Milo makes Scorch go to high school most of the time.
This is so that he (as a scrawny, kinky-ginger-haired, albino nerd with thick, coke-bottle glasses and a butt-chin) can get in a full day's being harrassed, degraded and tormented when Milo is too busy to do so.
After all, what else is high school good for?

The name Milo picked for him is "Melvin Francis Percival Weiner, the Third", which is basically jock-douchebag-bully catnip in cartoons and comic strips like these.
