The year was 2008.

Dr. Coolbeans was meant to be another alt-reality version of Milo Mannheim from Malicious Intent. He was meant to be friendlier and at least somewhat less nihilistic, of just as insane.
A kinder, gentler suburban psycho supergenius, if you will.
I wrote him, initially, as the host of a cable access talk show/reality show so that he could do his mad science and have fun while doing so, with the occasional world-ending weirdness cropping up that he'd either have to stop, or had accidentally caused.
