Ozzie runs a gamut of different forms in order to move forward with the comic. This is indicative of my ongoing identity crisis, I guess.
Ever since I hit my twenties, I ditched my childhood nickname and personality in order to ‘grow up’. That was a mistake. I moved around a lot, and every place I went, I tried to ‘fit in’. I succeeded. I failed.
After a while, I lost my own sense of self, and I've been chasing that dragon ever since.
With society's constant deluge of culture, subculture, pop culture, stereotypes, religion, politics and sociopolitical agendas ceaselessly vying for brainwash control of the masses, when One has the slightest crack in One's self-image and sense of identity, it can do a number on “One” for the rest of their lives.
