Losing Friends Left and Right

My best friend had died.
My OLDEST friend broke my heart with his beliefs
and
a former friend had become a complete piece of shit.
Late 2010 was a VERY low point in my life in regards to social behavior and the desire for same.
It was only in the last week of that year that things got better. The Day After Christmas (or, “Boxing Day” for our Canadian friends") was the day my girlfriend, (Who would come to be known as Lucy Q in my autobio comics), asked me out, and I said yes.
Of course, me being the whackbag that I am, and, especially WAS at the time, there was a somewhat twisted reason behind my accepting her proposition. I'll get to that in these pages. After all, she doesn't read these comics. She'll never know.
