I've darkened the lettering tho it still looks a little hard to read.Need to work on my penmanship:)The last comment Sloan makes on this page refers to the rivalry back then between the sheep and cattle herders.Sheep eat the grass to the root which doesn't allow it to grow back.This ticked off the cattle ranchers because when the cattle came around to graze all they found was dirt.Sloan is therefore an ex-cattlehand.
