For those who know me, I'm a spider-man nutter. When i went to universal studios, I went up to one of the guys in spider-man costume and I was like 'remember in the mid 90's when marvel looked like it was going under, well, lets just say I saved your job, so be grateful and make with the pose for the picture'.
Added note for May 11, 07. Ya I made this comic about a week before I actually saw it. I'm no reviewer but I can sort of stick by what the guy said. I think on the whole, it was okay. Visually, it was spectacular, with the swinging and the fight scenes in the small alleys and all. That was my favorite part, Harry v Peter at the start. Where I got let down: all those fluffy bunny bits, like when Sandman drifted away in a rainbow of love. I was also disappointed in Venom. C'mon, if Todd McFarlane taught us anything, it's that Venom is not a black version of spider-man, scrawny with plastic vampire teeth. No, Venom is a freaking monster that would easily pop any limb out of any socket. But other than those 2 bits, I thought it was a decent movie and will probably see it a few more times before it leaves theaters.
