This comic is less 'ha ha' than 'aww', especially if you're a parent.

The dialogue is not 100% accurate to the actual events, except for that last Tom quote. The artist did, in fact, run off to politely request the nurses take good care of me and my initial concern was indeed that he was going to pester everyone and we should be controlling him better.

Later they gave me morphine and I worried less about that kind of stuff for a while.
