Recycling Week 02 - Playing in Traffic is Dumb!

I worry about this one.

First, kids running across traffic isn't funny to me. At all. I can still remember running after the artist when he was little and heading for the bottom of our driveway. And he did actually run across a busy road without looking once even when we'd thought he was old enough to know better. That kind of thing can nearly give a parent a heart attack.

Second, the 'punchline' probably doesn't land unless you enjoyed the first comic in this particular story line.

Third - I know simple can work in a comic, but the empty horizon just bothers me a bit.

Welcome to the 'Special Edition', where I've added some features to the sky (possibly overdoing the blur effect in Inkscape), added Pete into panels 4 and 6 where he was missing, altered the alignments of Pete's face and visible arm, and moved the bus in panel 5.

Overall I think it's an improvement. Normally I'd have made the artist do it, but he's busy leaving tomorrow's comic to the absolute last minute like the typical teenager he is.
