In Hoc Signo Vincis

The moment I've talked about, in color, and I can't summon the peppiness to comment on it right now.

One of my uncles died this friday. I'm not as affected as I thought I'd be, but I'm still feeling an impact. Still, I decided to just go on with what I was doing before. My parents and sister, too, are trying. It's probably a lot harder on them, since my parents were very close to him and my sister was the last one to talk to him, but we've gone through stuff before. In life, things pass by us or through us. Even pain and loss, they'll eventually pass.

This is the philosophy I'm trying to express in this comic. People change, things pass, but something always remain. A feeling and a memory, if they're worth something, they remain.

And my uncle would hate to see us whining anyway. He'd probably bark at us to snap out of it and pop open a beer, then start singing loudly and off-key. We'll miss you, uncle Zerro. This page is for you. If there really is a heaven, I'm sure you're throwing a party over there.
