Readers, pray forgive me for my twofold crime:

1. Putting this page up late,

2. Grossly oversimplifying Les Mis. Javert and Valjean are by no means the only characters around here: There's whole plots with Marius, Cosette, Fantine, the whole Thenardier clan…

I did a lot of extra research to try and get this page anywhere near what I could call "right," but I still don't feel totally satisfied. I spent a few days rereading Les Mis, looking for any details to help with vignettes that were already pretty plain. But I couldn't really do backgrounds either, since they really cluttered the page and made it way too busy. :( I also wanted to get Javert on the bridge in there, but there really wasn't enough room.

So yeah, tl;dr: page is late because I put a lot of work into a page that really doesn't look like it. Also Les Miserables would rock each and every one of your worlds, if it has not already.
