A whale of a discovery

I actually tried to make this one look OK, and I think I pulled it off. Comparatively speaking.

And nothing like a little bit of vaguely racist humor. I think this could have been executed better. And it seems REALLY strange now.

But at the time I drew it, the Japanese DID discover a new species of whale.
