This is page one of the origin story of my Superhero Skulldog.

The basic premis is that he is a man down on his luck in a city where even humanity has become a disposable item, homelessness has tripled and an underclass of society has formed.
The hopeless hordes are humbled and easy prey for the scavangers of this spraling metroppolis, they have lost heart and dignity, until one day a magical item is found and a new hero is born, one that will protect those that society refuses to notice.
