Anyway, I drew a couple of pictures similar to this. The idea is basically to show a scene of violence with the word violence surrounding it. I was thinking about how comics are usually simply a story told through the relation between a series of images and written text. I was also thinking about how much bloodshed there is in some (my) comics, and how distant most viewers are from it. We just read the panel, maybe feel something, then move on. Well, after thinking about that, I drew this. If anyone is thinking that the art in this is derivative, it's supposed to be. I wanted the characters in them to look perfectly generic, interchangeable , and forgettable. More of these to come later in the week.
