They Chaos Blast beam attack is not made up by me.
If you play Sonic Chronicles you can make Shadow use a Chaos Blast which targets an enemy and turns into a beam, and that's the Chaos Blast used in the team attack. Like what Tails said, if Shadow simply used the normal Chaos Blast she would be hit, but because it's a beam and because the lights were out, he missed and simply destroyed… the chair…
