#Update (or: Let's get political!)

Okay, so a quick recap of what has gone before, plus something that came to me when I should have been listening to my lecturer.

I'm not particularly fond of the Conservatives, in particular not David Cameron. In actual fact, I trust Gordon Brown, the PM, more than Cameron simply because he isn't charismatic, meaning that his popularity is dependant upon his ability to run the country (if you are so inclined, feel free to replace 'run' with 'ruin'). Shame he's had such awful luck with regards to uncontrollable problems since he took office. Ah well.

All Cameron does is stand there complaining how Labour has messed up and how he could do everything better. So what? If that's true, he'll get into power in the next general election (very likely given how things have been going recently). If he was any sort of decent politician he'd be making constructive suggestions on how to improve the running of the country, but OH NO, David needs the spotlight, needs to be seen standing out there as the great critic of Labour.

Everyone keeps complaining how Labour and the Tories are getting closer and closer policy-wise anyway, to the point where there's no real difference in the parties, so all a change in government would mean is that different faces are going to be making the same fucked up decisions.

Bloody Cameron, if he took the broomstick out of his arse he'd suddenly realise that he has no backbone.

Interesting fact: in 2000, there were more people called 'David' in the Conservative Party than there were women. Go figure.
