I wonder if the voice actors ever think this? =P I thought the problem with dialogue in Sonic games was poor voice actors, but as someone pointed out to me, maybe its not the voice actors, but the scripts they are lumbered with. In Sonic Heroes, there seems to be some evidence to support that claim…
Its also a damn sight harder to voice act than you think. Me and MP, along with another friend tried it on Sonic Adventure for the PC (we found out how to modify the sound files) but some of it (especially mine) sounded very hollow (ie crap)
I also rewrote this script entirely. The previous script I was going to use would only make sense if you knew about trancendance and physics (which I doubt anyone here does. I wouldnt expect anyone to. I never seen or heard the word "Trancendance" myself until I played Alpha Centauri, and even then, I had to look it up…)
Also, with make or break resits on the horizon plus my new job, dont be surprised if the schedule goes out the window. I have to find time to move back home as well, so the next 2-3 weeks are going to be very, very busy…
