The Egg fleet really reminded of the Empire Star Destroyer fleets from Star Wars (hence my picture from Empire at War)

Seriously, I couldnt remember the dialogue in this FMV as I was too busy groaning at all the film references. And it wouldnt be the first time Sonic has ripped off Star Wars (read Death Egg)

And the end of the cutscene soooooo has Terminator 2 written all over it. (wonder if this is the T-1000 Metal Sonic model? =P )

I also played with the liquify effect on Robotnik and Metal Sonic, which is a bit meh.

Now, an explanation for my lack of spriting. Firstly, it was because of exams (some of you may have already knew this). The second reason however, was that just after my exams, I decided to fix a recurring computer problem once and for all. But it took FAR longer than expected (two Windows re-installs and another dead external Hard Drive later). The only plus was that I was able to backup everything no problem, so all my stuff was largely intact (except I lost my bookmarks, due to a blunder on my part)

Now to catch up on the other spriting fronts!
