Well would you look at that…

Genocide City Zone: it was a zone intended for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but was scrapped very, very, early in development. There is no official information, and the only test level was just a bottemless pit. Some rumors say that it was supposed to be a destroyed and burning city, with the boss being Sonic with a flaming skull head. That is what this comic goes by. As for why Sonic is so afraid of it, I've yet to think up.
