So..Here is my nightmare page. Sorry it took me so long. I obsessed over this thing…The page lacked a lot of dialogue. And with only 3 panels, I felt it needed enough going on in the page to pay the reader for their time. Panel 3 is loaded with homages to things that have influenced me while writing Soul Driver. I'm a huge music fan…and Soul Driver was written or inspired by metal/industrial/electronic music along with western undertones..(Ennio Morricone…a childhood hero.) Along with film references..Tarrantino being one of them. The Geek and Uma is my tip of the hat, for now…If I could sum this panel up…I went for the feel of the bar scenes in The Crow and Blade 2.
Another reason I delayed posting this was, I was busy getting chapter 2 ready for WOWIO. Yes you can now download Soul Driver and read it to your hearts content…and for free.
