ACK!
This is one of those pages that just came together really fast and I was pretty happy with how it turned out…There were a few things that bothered me. Franks hand in panel 1…I wrestled with whether or not to add darks to panels 6 thru 8. The pencils went really fast. In fact I had this puppy penciled in 2 or 3 hours. Granted my pencil work isn't really that tight anymore since I'm inking it. Compared to when I started. If you've downloaded Book 2 from WOWIO you can see how tight I penciled in the beginning. SO I wanted to post today since I missed last week…then I get this up here and see Franks nose in panel 4…AACCKKKK! Well maybe next time.
Just wanted to say congrats to a couple of creators that frequent here. Chip and Midge. Who have two of my favorite comics up here at DD….BROKEN THINGS and BLOODHOUND. They've both been getting writes ups here and there. If you haven't checked them out DO IT!!
Mr. Chip won the contest I had on page 50 finding the stall..He'll get a SOULDRIVER poster…some artwork…pencil shavings…toenail clippings. Whatever I can find laying around here…Last but not least I need to mention a person who won as well. Because I know she reads this. Me and the missus have known her since high school. We love her dearly and she is one of THE most important people in our lives. It touches me deeply that she reads this and questions me on what's going to happen next..she also found the stall in age 50. So thanks Cindy. Hope everyone has a good weekend…See ya soon. Jim
