Hey There!
So some of you may notice…or maybe not, that I'm toying with my inking style. Or to be more exact, I'm trying to establish a procedure or work method. I'm a constant reader..and lately I've been thumbing through old issues of Rough Stuff magazine. Reading about how other artist go about putting pencil or ink to paper gives you the ability to try something different. Or to think about what you're doing and why…In the past I stayed away from brushes and inking. But now I've become so comfortable with the brush and more importantly, dig the more flexible control I have to vary my line weight. The quill is used after. Strictly for finer details and embellishment….
..So this was an attempt at humor. To lighten a somewhat ominous mood…Just to show even corpses have a sense of humor. I'm off to finish a couple of commission pieces and a couple of pieces I'm doing for some folks. I'm also adding in a scene that originally I was going to write into book 2. It will help establish all characters by the end of book 1. I'll be seeing you soon. Jim
