Oh hi Eric. I see you're still a pretty stressed-out kid.
For those whose school districts might not have these: an "honor
society" in American schools is like a select club. You send in an
application with certain requirements (for example, having a certain
average in your History class in order to be accepted for History Honor
Society). Like clubs, the list of Honor Societies you're in [and
whether you're the President of them] shows up on your college
application, so the point is mostly to impress college admissions.
