It's amazing how much just a little bit of empathy can change an entire perspective, even a lifelong one! To be very clear, I normally don't like it when people say that someone needs to "grow up", because most people don't understand what that means. Being mature doesn't mean being joyless or miserable. It means, more than anything I think, to be conscious of others outside of oneself, and being conscious of the welfare of others, not just one's own well-being. Naturally, Linus here had no awareness of any of that before now, and unfortunately there are so many people like that. Let's hope everyone can get the opportunity for a broader perspective, or at least a different one.

We'll be taking a couple of weeks away, but have a happy Halloween and a blessed Samhain, a lovely Day of the Dead and everything else. This is a truly special time of year, and you should enjoy it to the fullest extent to which you are able. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you very soon again!
