Here we meet all of Space Squad Zeta.  Their personalities will start to show as the comic goes on.  TIM is designed as a portable ship's computer.  While the ship can certainly fly without it, TIM greatly enhances is systems.  It can also independently control the ship from the cockpit and, in a more limited fashion, by remote control.  TIM is the first such unit in the Star Police and is considered highly experimental.
