That was always a huge indicator on my douche-ometer. Someone tells you some terrible secret about themselves and you just go "Oh" that's kinda douchey. Particularly if you change the subject after that.

I don't know what state their in and I always left it ambiguous. I always assumed somewhere in New England. Because of what I've written of the story (That is… I've written 3 50,000 word novels on just these characters so I know pretty far into their story) I know they have a forest, and there's a beach in driving distance.

And yes, because it was asked before, this takes place is a city called Sleepy Hollow. It's one of my favorite scary stories so I thought I'd pay homage. :3

Spirit X is a bit of a Halloween/spooky type story. Not meant to be horror but it has that dark, twisty feel to it. ^^
