I never really liked 'Happy Holidays'. I always believed that you should celebrate whatever you happen to celebrate, not what everone else does. I would rather hear a heartfelt 'Merry Christmas', 'Happy Chanukah', 'Happy Kwanzaa', or whatever else you happen to celebrate than an unemotional 'Happy Holidays'; even though I may be celebrating something else. When Veterans Day comes we don't go wishing each other 'Happy Holidays'; nor when President's Day, Labor Day, Valitines Day, St.Patricks Day, New Years both Eve and Day, and on and on. It makes no sense to make everyone more 'politically correct' if it takes away the passion and sense of festivity that comes with each holiday and their unique aspects, otherwise what's the point of having the holiday?! Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and the others that may be out there come only once a yeah; they should be celebrated whole-heartedly by each an every person that celebrate them. So, instead of the completely unfestive 'Happy Holidays!' that we are being trained to use, proudly proclaim the holiday you truly care about and celebrate.
